This larger Ju Lun Zhu teapot is especially well suited for larger tea sessions. It has a smooth pour, excellent balance, and virtually no leakage during use. There’s a confidence and ease to the way it handles that makes it exactly the kind of pot you’d want to be using when brewing tea for guests. 

Alternatively, this pot can also be used for smaller sessions. I find it performs especially well when filled around halfway while brewing shou puer and other dark teas with longer steeps, producing a thick and satisfying cup with very little effort.

The pot also brings a strong aesthetic presence to the tea experience through its detailed lid and carved details. Combined with the soft and pleasant feel of the clay, it’s a teapot that’s pleasant to hold, look at, and spend time with throughout a session.
